Adee’s First Cool Summer In Dipolog

beach

It was Adee’s first time to go Dipolog to visit and meet her Lola Rosita (they share the same  birthday) My Lola has cancer so its really important for my Lola to meet Adee. Since we’ll only be in town for 2 days I wanted to maximize the experience. First order of business is  to have Adee’s   photo  taken with her 3 Lola’s. Lola Rosita, Lola Lucy and Mama Rescy. Cool right? Then we went to Dakak.

What also made it a cool and unforgettable summer for my parents is they were able to spend quality time with Adee. This visit wouldn’t be a cool one without making a side trip to Rizal’s house in Dapitan. I’m so glad we took the time to go to Dipolog to visit my Lola.I’m sure that Sago has never been to Dipolog and I would like to volunteer to take him around if and when he wants to visit.

I know some of you are rolling your eyes and asking yourselves. Where is Dipolog City?
Dipolog City is situated in the Northwestern part of the Province of Zamboanga del Norte. It is bounded on the North by Dapitan City, on the East by the municipality of Polanco, on the South by the municipality of Katipunan and on the West.

Dipolog is known for its wild orchids and its sardine industry which stems from the rich fishing area off its shores. It is known as the “Gateway to Western Mindanao” through the Western Nautical Highway and has also been called the “Bottled Sardines Capital of the Philippines.”

Dipolog can be reached by plane via Dipolog Airport or by ferry at the nearby Pulauan Port in Dapitan City. The construction of a Roll-on Roll-off facility at Barangay Galas will allow for the eventual transfer of the service to Dipolog while retaining inter-island operations at Pulauan, which is soon to become a base port.

That summer vacation was a bit stressful because I didn’t have a nanny to help me and so I realized that to achieve the goal being cool this summer when we travel is  so easy.Bring the nanny with us when we travel. Simple and Easy and everyone is happy.
